Validates almost all email addresses. Tested and running fine on a major web portal

The author has not seen RFC822 or RFC2822, and therefore this email validator is wrong. Hint: if your regex for validating email is less than about 2000 characters, you're not validating actual email addresses... just your ignorant idea of email addresses.
