it's much better, but it still rejects 8.00 hours, although this must be acepted.
I am a newbie to regexps, and need it to validate a datagrid where users can fill in 0 - 24 hours, in quarters of an hour. So 24.00 and 0.00 must be excepted.
I guess I can figure it out, with the examples on this site

it doesn't seem to work. i can enter 24 and it's a match. Although it must be 8 or 0 to 7
