It's okay but doesn't handle special URL's, like
"http://www.whatever.com/?page=duck&id=123"
It also include single stand-alone periods at the end of the URL.

The "-"character is the only special character allowed in urls; so the expression
(?<http>(http:[/][/]|www.)([a-z]|[A-Z]|[0-9]|[/.]|[~]|-)*)
really does it all!!
