Description |
Pattern to match European VAT codes based on the formats described at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/vat/managing/international/esl/country-codes.htm. The pattern is written long-hand and does not follow the character rules to the letter, but in the absence of a true VAT code checking service (the only accurate way to do this) it is pretty good.
